Gray Duck Art is a women-owned and local business based in Minnesota that encourages you to ditch your creative doubt because you are more creative than you think. Our pet painting kits that ship to all 50 states, will help you discover a creative bone that you didn’t know you had. The Gray Duck Art team is made up of six unique and extremely talented artists that hand draw your pet with a paint by number layout, ready for you to jump in and paint!
Christmas orders are no longer guaranteed to be delivered in time. There are still two options to gift someone a kit for Christmas though!
Gift cards can be purchased here and are available 24/7! This is a great option if you’d like the recipient to pick their own photo and background color. This will also ensure the recipient is able to send in their pictures and paint when they want. Gift cards will not expire.
Pre-order a kit for them! Go through the entire ordering process on this page (including submitting photos of the pet via email), and print this certificate for them. The certificate will let them know that their kit is in the works and will arrive in January of 2025. Put their address in the shipping section if you’d like it shipped right to them in January.
How does this work?

Please send an email with a few photos of your pet to kits@grayduckart.com. Please send with the subject line: Order Number / Name Purchased By (Example: 03340 / Maddy DePaul).

3. THE KIT SHIPS RIGHT TO YOUR DOORSTEP
Typical turnaround time is three weeks, but we update our turnaround time above. All of our pet painting kits are hand drawn, so shipping times may vary. Make sure to paint your kit before paints dry out (typically within 2-3 months).
Your paint by number kit will include:
A customized hand-drawn paint-by-number on a 12x16 canvas of your pet
Paints that correlate to the numbers on your canvas
A few different sized brushes
Plastic sheet to cover your table or work space
Print out with some tips and tricks
